PsychicAlert is my personal blog about psychic readings, choosing a service and recognizing pressure tactics. I want readers to have room to ask questions, compare options and decide whether a reading is right for them.
My name is Marna McLaurin, and I started this website to share my knowledge of what to watch out for when looking for the real psychics. I’ve been getting psychic readings for many years and have come across my fair share of fakes and frauds- here, I’ll share what I know so that your journey to finding a genuine psychic can be easier than ever before.
What you’ll find on PsychicAlert
This blog brings together articles about psychic readings, service comparisons, reader experiences and the questions that come up before spending money on a reading. You do not need to share my beliefs to use it. Take what helps you think clearly, question what does not and leave room for your own judgment.
My personal experiences are one perspective. A review, a confident prediction or a moving testimonial should not be treated as proof of psychic ability or a promise about your own experience.
Start with the question you have
New to readings?
Explore the PsychicAlert article collection for discussions of readings, relationships and everyday questions. Start with one topic instead of feeling you need to book a session straight away.
Feeling pressured?
The guide to fear, urgency and repeated-fee warning signs helps you recognize situations worth stepping back from, especially when someone insists you must pay immediately.
Comparing services?
Look beyond a star rating. Check the full price, how billing works, whether you can end the session and what the provider says about refunds. A low introductory price does not tell you the total cost.
Read with your own boundaries in mind
- Separate an experience from a fact. A reviewer’s feelings about a reading do not establish what will happen in your life.
- Keep the practical details visible. Prices, introductory offers and provider policies can change; check them before making a purchase.
- Protect your privacy. You can ask general questions without sharing intimate details about yourself or someone else.
- Leave room to say no. Choosing not to have a reading is a valid decision. You do not owe a provider another session.
A reader’s choice comes first
A psychic reading can be a personal or spiritual experience, but it does not establish facts about your future or another person’s thoughts. You can decline a reading, set a spending limit and stop a conversation that makes you uncomfortable. Medical, legal, financial and safety decisions deserve qualified professional help.
