Ask why information is requested and check the service’s privacy terms; do not assume every provider has the same recording, retention or sharing practices.
You need not describe trauma, family conflict or another person’s private life to prove that you are open. “I prefer not to discuss that” is a complete boundary. A lack of context may limit an ordinary conversation, but it does not demonstrate that you blocked a paranormal connection.
